Fancy one more trip on the water after dinner, but not on a crowded boat with strangers? At Mokumboot your night boat tour is always private. The boat is only for your group, and the skipper sails the route that suits you, past lit bridges and canal houses.
You sail for 2, 2.5 or 3 hours. The price is per boat, not per person: a 2-hour private tour costs € 425, which with ten people is around € 42.50 per person.

Amsterdam by night from the water
When it gets dark, the lights under the bridges come on and the facades reflect in the water. The skipper takes you under the Magere Brug, past Royal Theatre Carré and along the Prinsengracht, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Singel, then heads for the quieter canals. The canal ring has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2010.
Food and drinks
The classic tugboat has a bar and a toilet on board. Our caterers can arrange snack boards or dinner on board. Bringing your own is possible for a corkage fee. In autumn and winter the boat is covered, with umbrellas and blankets on board.
Boarding
You board at Amsterdam Central Station or at the NEMO Science Museum. Want to step on board right outside your restaurant after dinner? That's possible on request, for an extra charge. Prams are welcome on board, and so are assistance animals. Unfortunately our boats are not wheelchair accessible.

Can I buy tickets for a night boat tour?
No. At Mokumboot you always sail privately with your own group. You rent the whole boat with a skipper, from € 425 for 2 hours.
How much does a private night boat tour cost?
€ 425 for 2 hours, € 530 for 2.5 hours and € 640 for 3 hours. The price is per boat, including the skipper. Tourist tax of € 2.70 per person is added.
Can we have drinks on board?
Yes. The tugboat has a bar on board, and our caterers can arrange snack boards or dinner. Bringing your own is possible for a corkage fee.
How many people fit on the boat?
Up to 35 people per boat. Smaller groups sail privately just as easily.
