Our boats
Which boat suits your group? With Mokumboot you always sail privately: the boat is just for your group, with your own skipper at the helm. You choose between two boats. The classic tugboat is cosy and sheltered, the luxury open boat sits low on the water with a clear view all round. Both are 100% electric and take up to 35 people.
The price is per boat, skipper and VAT included: from € 425 for 2 hours. Rather steer yourself? Then rent an electric boat for up to 8 people, no licence needed.

The classic tugboat
Our tugboats are modelled on the traditional Amsterdam harbour tug. The boat is semi-open: you sit on cushions at a long table, with a bar and a toilet on board. Handy for a longer tour, drinks or dinner on the water.
- Up to 35 people
- Long table, cushions, bar and toilet
- Covered in autumn and winter, with umbrellas and blankets on board
- 100% electric
The luxury open boat
In the open boat you sit low on the water, close to the canal houses and right under the bridges. There is room to walk around, grab a drink or swap seats for a photo. On a sunny day, this is the boat where you feel the city all around you.
- Up to 35 people
- Clear view all round
- Covered in autumn and winter, with umbrellas and blankets on board
- 100% electric
Tugboat or open boat: which one suits you?
On both boats the skipper sails and tells you about the city along the way, in English and Dutch. You plan the route together: by default past the Skinny Bridge, Carré and along the Prinsengracht, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Singel. The difference is the feel on board.
- Tugboat: everyone at one long table, with a bar and toilet. Great for dinner, a birthday or a company outing.
- Open boat: low on the water, a clear view and room to move. Great for drinks on a nice day.
Food and drinks come from our caterers: snack platters, lunch or dinner. Or pick the pizza boat or the pancake boat. Bringing your own is fine for a corkage fee.
Sail it yourself
Want to be the captain? Our electric boats take up to 8 people and you don't need a boating licence. Explore the canals at your own pace, with free cancellation.

“The best few hours spent in Amsterdam. The boats are easy to self navigate and it definately doesn’t require training or a licence. The views from the canals are so different of those one sees walking. We were asissted by Lucas and he is a gem of the entire team. Thank you, Lucas!!”
