What does a canal cruise with Mokumboot cost?

Looking for a canal cruise in Amsterdam and wondering what it costs? At Mokumboot you always sail privately: you rent the whole boat with skipper, just for your group. We don't sell individual seats, so you pay per boat, not per person.

Prices include the skipper and VAT. Tourist tax of € 2.70 per person is added. With ten people, a 2-hour cruise works out at about € 42.50 per person.

Times: you choose when to sail

There's no fixed timetable. You agree on a start time, depending on availability, and sail for 2, 2.5 or 3 hours. During the day past the canal houses, or in the evening when the bridges and facades are lit up.

You can sail in autumn and winter too. The boats are covered then, with umbrellas and blankets on board.

What's included in the price?

• The whole boat for your group, up to 35 people
• A skipper who sails and tells stories along the way, in English and Dutch
• A route agreed with you, through the canal ring and along the Amstel
• A classic tugboat or luxury open sloop, 100% electric

Food and drinks are not included. Through our caterers you can order snack platters, lunch or dinner on board. You can also bring your own, for a corkage fee.

Boarding at Central Station

You board at our location close to Amsterdam Central Station or at the NEMO Science Museum. Prefer to board somewhere else, for example at your hotel or restaurant? That can be arranged for an extra charge.

Want to take the wheel yourself? Rent an electric sloop for up to 8 people. You don't need a boating licence and cancellation is free.
