Company outing
Out on the canals with your team, in your own boats
A company outing on the water
Looking for a team outing that gets everyone talking, without a stuffy meeting room? Take your colleagues out on the Amsterdam canals. At Mokumboot your group always has its own boats, never shared with strangers. There are two ways to do it.
Private boat with skipper
Everyone on one boat, with a skipper who sails and tells stories about the city in English and Dutch. A classic tugboat or luxury open sloop takes up to 35 people. You pay per boat: from € 425 for 2 hours, including skipper and VAT. Drinks, lunch or dinner on board can be arranged through our caterers.
Sail yourselves
Prefer to take the wheel? Rent electric sloops for up to 8 people per boat. No boating licence needed. With several boats, you can turn it into a competition with the boat rally game.
Plan your private canal tour
Choose your boat, date and extras. You see the price right away, then choose: book and pay now, or request a quote first.

Play the boat rally game
A fun one to do with a group: the boat rally game. Your group splits into teams, each in its own sloop, following a route through the canals and collecting points along the way by answering questions and completing assignments.
Food and drinks
On a private boat with skipper, we arrange snack platters, lunch or dinner on board with our regular caterers. Or choose the pizza boat or pancake boat. Bringing your own is possible for a corkage fee.
For hotels and restaurants
Want to offer your guests a private canal cruise? You board at Amsterdam Central Station or the NEMO Science Museum as standard; boarding at your hotel or restaurant can be arranged for an extra charge.
